This project was inspired by my older brother Karan who has Down's syndrome and was laid off from his long term paid employment in 2020.

People with learning disabilities are highly willing and capable of being in paid employment. Yet, in the UK, their rate of employment is 5.1% due to widespread stigma and misconceptions.

Aptly named 'See the Ability,' I created a non profit organisation that aims to challenge the misconceptions and equip prospective employers with the information needed to hire and support people with learning disabilities through campaigns and an educational toolkit.
